Last week we were able to visit "The Teeken Ambachtsschool from 1905 to 1908."
The drawing school was built in 1905, designed by government architect J. of Lokhorst and N. van der Schuit. The supervision lay with Dr. PJHCuypers who also left valid its influence for the design.
Today it is the office building of the Limburg Employers Association" It is a very nice building and this time it was open to the public only for two days, because of an exhibition. We made some nice pictures from the inside.
Such nice details. Mr. Cuypers has build many churches and also the "Rijks Museum in Amsterdam" He lived from 1827 till 1921.We were so surprized by the building and forgot to take pictures of the paintings. auwah. Next time.
